I would like to say welcome, and congratulations. Your presence here means that you have been chosen to learn the complexity of magick. You have the talent and skill to be able to learn, and we have the knowledge to teach you. Our library contains a vast pool of resources that we have gathered, and while most advanced magick is hard to understand our staff is willing to guide you through the rough parts. After all, once we were all where you stand now. While magick is too complicated and difficult for true mastery, a valued attempt at unlocking it's secrets can be made upon this island.

Most of you will likely be unnerved by the extensive tunneling and underground passageways this school contains. I don't blame you, in fact I much prefer the open air myself. The unfortunate situation we find ourselves in, however, requires us to move underground in an effort to separate classes so all can learn without too much distraction. In time you will grow used to the ceilings and walls as I did.

Your class schedule and the layout of this facility should have been given to you upon arrival at the Academy. You will be in classes with others of your skill level. Magick is a tricky subject, and requires your patience and dedication. However, nothing is more rewarding than the success that you will reach under the careful teachings of our professors here.

Classes will be organized by your Magical class and Grade level. All students will be separated by the level of control that they have over their magic to maximize learning potential. Upon arrival, students will be given a Personal Storage Amulet (PSA) containing schedules, and any information that you may need for your coursework. PSA's are activated and operated by simple magic. Each amulet, after activation, works only for the equine that it belongs to, and you can store whatever information that you please. Homework, personal notes and other classwork is mandatory information to be kept at all times on your amulet. It is strongly recommended that you never take off your PSA, for they are easily lost and confused between students. When you receive your amulet, simply touch it with your muzzle to activate. Senior students and professors are always happy to answer any questions that you may have about operation.

Classrooms are all found underground, save for physical education courses, which are held on grounds near the lake. These grounds are open to all students before, after, and in between classes. The bordering forest is open to students in daylight, but strictly forbidden after nightfall. By that time, all students should be underground in their quarters, finishing up homework, or catching a wink of sleep before classes start again the following morning.

Each underground classroom provides a slab for each student, on which they can project any information necessary for the coursework. They are however, rather fragile, so be respectful of your materials.

The library and healers quarters are always open to students, regardless of the hour. We have a wonderful healer, capable of healing anything from bellyaches to broken bones.

This is a place of great power and learning, stocked with everything you need for the recipe of your life. Your time here will give you whatever you choose to put into it.
