In the time of the young days of the Kingdom and the Tribes there was much strife and war. Equines banded together according to their beliefs, and slowly territories were claimed. Outsiders were driven out, one by one, until only the Tribes existed in what they believed to be their rightful territories.

Board Description
The History & Plot Of Val'thoron
Val'thoron has a rich and extensive history, which includes those facts which have faded into legends. As tales are told, most are twisted with each telling, until they become fabled tales through which the truth can be seen but barely. The more recent history, that of the early days of the Tribes is more factual, but also has its fables.

The most recent of the history, the stories of the equines who lived just a few generations ago or who are still alive is recorded here, and treasured highly. For these equines now have a chance to shape the future, and all the wise ones hope they have the sense to remember the mistakes of the past.
