I held the mares gaze, more than a little creeped out, but at the same time, she was integueing, like a horrific puzzle that I had no hope of solving. I remembered the headmasters warning, I had to be caeful. No one knew who this mare was, or exactly what she could do.
"I am Arix. I would like to learn."
Her name hung like another puzzle peice, but I snatched it away before it could become a distraction. I was working, puzzles could be solved later. The improtant thing was that she wanted to learn. I smiled politely at her and tried not to betray anyting from my mind. "A pleasure to meet you." A creepy pleasure, but a pleasure none the less. "Would you like to travel with me? It's much faster than your wings could ever carry you."
I wasnt really giving her a choice, but nothing in my voice communicated that. I had a feeling that she wouldnt refuse.
